NFL 2008-09 Season

That was a hell of a game.

Here are my thoughts-

1. Trent Edwards is a TERRIBLE quarterback.

2. Marshawn Lynch was Buffalo's ONLY good player tonight.

3. Tonight was a macrocosm of my life as a Buffalo sports fan.

Sabres, if any fan can relate to Buffalo's past heart breakers, it's Cleveland fans. I feel for you buddy. And to be honest, I'm not used to being on the opposite side of this unfortunate luck.

Hell of a game Sabres!

Well it took a awhile but not a bad MNF game, with that said....

My Week 11 HOT 10:

1. Tennessee
2. NY Giants
3. Carolina
4. Tampa Bay
5. Pittsburgh.
6. Arizona
7. Denver
8. Atlanta
9. Indianapolis
10. NY Jets

NOT 10:

10. San Diego
9. Jacksonville
8. San Francisco
7. Houston
6. Seattle
5. Kansas City
4. Cincinnati
3. Oakland
2. St. Louis
1. Detroit

NOT 10:

10. San Diego
9. Jacksonville
8. San Francisco
7. Houston
6. Seattle
5. Kansas City
4. Cincinnati
3. Oakland
2. St. Louis
1. Detroit

After seeing the Rams awful effort against the Jets and 49ers, I'd put St. Louis in the #1 slot on Bottom 10.

Even though I wanted Buffalo to win, I picked Cleveland to win because I had no faith in Trent Edwards ability to dissect Cleveland's D (and it showed- 3 interceptions in a half).

For Week 11, I went 13-1-1 (Bears lost and we know about the tie)

For as bad as the Rams have played the last two weeks, they still have won 2 games this season....which is 2 more than Detroit. (Sorry Lions fans :) )

Sorry, why? Do you know how hard I've worked to make sure you guys KNOW that the Detroit Lions are the worst football team in the NFL, EVER?

THE DETROIT LIONS - REBUILDING SINCE 1957!!!

Paul, for BAD teams, I've been calamoring all season that the Chiefs are just as miserable.

Here's an interesting stat.....

The Kansas City Chiefs have played 10 games. They have six sacks. That would be as a team. Six sacks. There are 19 individual PLAYERS in the NFL with six sacks or more. The Chiefs are on pace for TEN sacks all season, and that’s actually rounding up.

Fewest sacks for teams since 1969:

1. Baltimore Colts, 1982 (9-game season), 11
2. Buffalo Bulls, 1982 (9-game season), 12
3. Baltimore Colts, 1981, 13
4. New England Patriots, 1972 (14-game season), 14
5. New York Jets, 1976 (14-game season), 16
6. Los Angeles Rams, 1991, 17
7. Atlanta Falcons, 1987 (15-game season), 17
8. Philadelphia Eagles, 1975 (14-game season), 17
(tie) Buffalo Bills, 1977 (14-game season), 17
(tie), New Orleans Saints, 1970, 17

So as you can see, this year’s Chiefs team has a chance to be the least intimidating defense ever. And by quite a lot.

Oh please, no comparison. The Lions have lost there HOME games by a 22.8 pt. differential. I don't know how many sacks we have, but we have only 2 interceptions this season. Our QB's throw that many a game. Didn't you pick us to win last week? How did that work out for you?

BTW, I'll thank your Browns for clinching my win in the pick-em pool for the second straight week.

i like the giants at #1 and the titans at#2 even though they're 10-0

And to think, this was a team that once boasted the likes of Neil Smith, Derrick Thomas, Albert Lewis, and Deron Cherry.
