Yeah I don't bother looking at the first couple of games in the preseason at all because the starters don't even play a full quarter, but the kicker was the starter and he choked.

The best part of the pre season is seeing the new guys or local guys that you may not see during the year.
I found out that there is a guy from Toledo playing with the Saints that way, I figured he was playing somewhere, but had no idea he was with the Saints.

In the regular season though it will be flip flopped.
I'll have to say the KC Chiefs had a heck of a good thing going last year and I think with all the off season moves they made and should of made this year they've really screwed up. AFC west is not on the rise with Shanahan with a newer QB and Chargers owners with their heads in the toilets. Chiefs would have had their best chance this year in the last 3 years easily.
The Detroit Lions displayed again just how far away they are from the promised land. They are one injury (Kitna) away from going 2-14. They still can't run the ball and can't stop the passing game. Good grief!

Being a Lions fan I have no idea what all the sports talking heads were thinking before the pre-season when they were saying "Detroit will be Carolina Panthers, Baltimore Ravens, or Patriots team that has horrible season after season for a decade, and then make it to the Superbowl"!
I have not heard one talking head mention what a great team the Lions will be now that we are in the pre-season.
My Prediction for Detroit was correct last year when I said they will "lucky to get 4 wins". This year I predict they can never amount more than 4 wins.
