Humans have been launching satellites into orbit for 50 years. You'd think we'd have the bugs worked out by now. Especially given the value of the payloads.

Actually, blasting a rocket into space is still one of the most challenging technical efforts. There are so many things that can go wrong, and often do. We are playing with massive explosives trying to control it. We are still far from mastering rocket launches. It is ironic.
