Well the other day I finally got my first HD TV. D* will be installing my new dish on the 21st, and I got a HD DVR for $99. I can't wait for HD and VOD.

Plug in a set of rabbit ears to your TV so you can at least watch some network HD in the mean time.

Couldn't you have got an HD DVR free? They have a package out right now to where if you sign up for NFL Sunday Ticket you get 4 months free of the Premiere package. Unless you don't care for sports or football. Nevertheless, this might be worth it anyway because of the free upgrade for the HD DVR.
Well they came out to hook up my new dish and receiver
. The guy was suppose to be here between 8PM-12 noon, he didn't get here till 2PM. IMO he was taking a long time to hook up everything, but he got it done. Half my HD channels aren't coming in, they are coming out tomorrow to fix it. Do you need all 4 cables coming off the dish to the Multi-switch? We kept the old dish running the other receivers, and the Slimline running the HR22, he said he only needed two lines.
I don't know but he better fix it.

Looks like your missing the B-Band Convertor adapter in the back of the Directv Reciever.. ?
No, I have those, they put on a new LNB, and everything works fine.
