new software suppose to come today?

If it is simple rollback, why wasn't it down much sooner, certainly by now?

I seem to remember problems with 328 before 330. Will it really clear the problems?

Anyone saying they're simply rolling it back to an older version is pulling that out of their *ss.

I don't think it was meant to be a serious comment.

I see an icon if I click info on a protected recording. Not sure if that's the way it was or not. Never protected any recordings before.

There's some new stuff as well. Pressing the info button in the guide or during live tv brings up a record option and some "you might also like" recommendations.

Each iteration of software has been a step in the right direction for me. Nothing is perfect, but I haven't experienced any of the issues others have complained about.

If you are a Dish employee, you signed a NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement). You shouldn't be talking about anything that you might see in software change that has not been sent out globally. There may be things in there that will never be distributed and you don't want to rile the subs who expect to see things that were just for testing..... ;)

Killjoy. ;)

Chomping at the bit waiting for the 22nd when supposedly we are to be graced with the next update. It better include fixes to the many things we have been pointing out and not just the fluffy things like the poster above mentioned. I will comprise and accept some fluff. :)

And just because a rollout is scheduled to begin on the 22nd doesn't mean we should all expect to get it then. It could take days or (most likely) weeks for it to get to everyone.

I always get updates the first or second night. I'll be on at 5:30 AM the day I see them.
I used to be in the first batch, but then I traded a Hopper for a Hopper with Sling. Now I'm towards the tail end of releases. For the bad releases that's great, for the other releases the waiting is no fun. But such is life...

Both of my HwSs and one of my H2ks update within a couple of days from a rollout but my other H2k always gets the update a week later.

DishAnywhere is (NOT) busted for MAC's. (Update - OS Issue not DISH issue)

Hopper with sling improvements
