Any advice would be appreciated. I just completed my install and everything appears normal except for a few transponders coming up as 0's and I'm not sure that's ok or not. The worst one is sat 103a (Signals on 103b are in the mid to high 90's). Below are my readings. Do they appear normal for zip 08030?

1-8 95 88 0 98 91 85 N/A N/A
9-16 N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A 0 0
17-24 96 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
25-32 N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A

Could you show 103b? Also what is on channels 480 & 481?

Are all your channels present? What dish & receiver?

Joe

HR20 - Slimline WNC
480 - 103B-Band Odd(13V).BBC confirmed working.
481 - 103B-Band Even(18V).BBC confirmed working.
All channels appear ok. Just not certain about all of those 0's on 103a (Also have 1 other 0 on another transponder that I don't remember which one but other than that one and the ones on 103a, there are no others.
Family is watching at the moment. I'll reply back with the 103 signals as soon as I can get them off.

The 0's your seeing are normal .
They are from areas that you do not get .

Thanx - So the 103a is your local sat then if I read this right. The 0's just threw me off. I would have thought that the N/A's were either unused and / or unavailable to me transponders, but it's good to know that the 0's are also meaningless. Just wanted to be sure that I wasn't missing out on what I'm paying for. Thanx for the replys back.

oagermann,
You are not the only one confused. The sats and transponders in service change daily it seems. I have been sent service calls for missing transponders and or satellite signals only to be told by the DTV techies that the satellite in question would not be in service for a few months. And in one case they sent the customer a new LNB to be installed to correct the situation if tuning wouldn't fix it.

The system is not fully "up" and stuff changes. I have even offered to sign a loyalty oath to get a current list for the zip code areas I service.

Check your channel list for missing channels + go to 480 & 481.
