What do you think UNIVERSAL means??? I guess since I've owned this LNBF that I have no clue how it operates...this is starting to get annoying...

I guess some people would argue with a fencepost....

I guess Mikey has selective reading because SatelliteAV said it the best....

Btw... SatelliteAV was the first North American Invacom distributor and we developed the QPH-031 and QPF-031 with Invacom. We do know the product line.

Plus almost every receiver I have owned when you select UNIVERSAL in the menu settings 22k greys out and says AUTO

The only recievers I used that didnt were the SA D9234 and my old Viacast 2000...that you have to set the polarity as 14v+22k or 18v+22k

boy do you have alot to learn....

Ok Mikey, I'll take it on the chin, I was wrong. Gota go in the back yard now and re-adjust my Invacom. I've got it set up all wrong!

The OP says he has a SNH031. Here are the specs (its already been posted once)
http://www.invacom.net/documents/Single.pdf

It clearly says High Band Selection (22kHz TONE). And yes the frequencies can overlap. Between 11700-11900 will show up on both low band and high band scans

But to use the SNH031 and the OP has he MUST turn the 22k on as pretty much everyone here other than you has said he needs to do

oh i get it....now we start deleting posts just because our views differ....censorship i guess....

it was off topic and had nothing to do with the thread....but then again most of your posts were wrong info so maybe they should be deleted too ;)

SatelliteAV imported and sold thousands of Invacom LNBFs and provided hundreds customer support calls for their products. I also worked with their engineering team to develop the QPH and QPF products......

I assure you that this LNBF requires 22KHz to select the hi/lo bands.

Now back to the thread subject.

What satellite are you trying to receive? If the satellite is not directly south of your location, has the LNBF been rotated (skewed)? What transponder frequency have you selected? What LNB type is selected?

Pictures and menu settings will be of assistance as we assist!

Sorry Guys for not responding sooner and i didnt mean to get this whole discussion going. Just to let you know once i set it to 10600 and 22khz ON i was able to look on some sats. Thanks
