Noticed the old test channels 560-570 (DTV), new movie slots are moving to 9501, etc. When you check 9508-9509 you get "searching for satellite 771"....must be the new test channels for the yet to arrive sat.

Yup.

Check your sat signals...I am getting all zeros on 103(CA) although 103(CB) is coming in strong;)

When you see signal strength from 103CA, it's time to party!

It's like waiting for xmas, santa claus, the tooth fairy & your birthday all rolled into one :)

It can be that way for some .... for me that was back in '07 when the first HD channels came on board.

Personally, I'm glad they are coming, but really have nothing (that is known so far) that I would watch scheduled to arrive.

I haven't watched TV in SD intentionally in ages.
Every once in a while.
Star Trek comes to mind, but that is the programming, not the channel itself.

What is "CA" & "CB"? I know about the Conus & Spotbeam abbreviations, but not CA/CB .

From the way I'm looking at it, the 103 CB is the existing 103 sat and the A is the new one, thats why the signal is strong on the one but not the other.
Probably ConUS A and ConUS B, we still have the 103 s for the spotbeam

I am looking forward to the additional movie channels in HD. I too do not watch the SD channels, they look so crappy on the 65 inch TV I can't stand to watch them. Not watching the SD at all makes additional HDs feel like NEW channels:D I would really like to see all the SD channels in mpeg 4. I would be happy with that even. The older non HD programming carried on the HD channels look so much better than on the DTV compressed to hell SD version...Anyway I will be glad to get any more HD that they give (except sports & PPV)

Can you post all of your signal levels?

Will do raoul ... just got back from vacation. One thing though .... all sats are there, even and odd, with the 99 & 103's (odd only) at low levels. NO 103 evens at all. I'll post my levels.

Your original numbers are a little low, but not bad. The new ones are! It looks like you are well out of alignment. Have you checked the dish to make sure it's at least bolted down? ;) Seriously, check it to be sure it's not loose and tighten anything that isn't. If all looks okay, first put a witness mark on the mast and base of the dish, then try moving it SLIGHTLY in one direction and see what that does to your levels.
