Can a Newer RC32 remote be set up to work with a older RCA 435 rec ?
Also would like to be able to work the input on the Sony TV as well.

This is a rec. at the cottage so I haven't changed it out to HD as I don't need HD up there.

Yes, the code would be 00392 for the RCA receiver. If the receiver were to set to DSS2/SAT2 code, then you would use 00855.

You would use sony tv code 10000, once you programmed to get the tv input:

1. tv
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT for two blinks
3. enter 9 6 0

So if I set the RC32 on D* and then did the Mute/Select thing, then push the 00392 ?
Is that correct ?

Then do the Sony TV code after that ?
