When Voom went Kaboom I switched to DN with HD option. I used to get 12 HD channels on Voom from OTA but after I switched to DN with 811 I would not get any channels. The sales CSR had told me that I will get all the OTAs with the existing antenna .. needless I was pissed .. and cancelled DN within 72 hrs ... after research it seems that either
1. The installed FKed up and didn't attached the OTA correctly
2. OR .. bad 811

I am considering going back to DN .. will I be a new customer or not?

Also, .. any good installers in Folsom, CA area ?

Thx

AA

Most likely, not... your information will show up on their system and you won't be able to qualify as a new sub.

It should have been quite obvious if you got nothing with the Dish receiver that something was wrong. I'd call Dish and explain your situation and ask if you can come back as a new sub, if you are looking for a deal. I don't know if being a customer for 72 hours qualifies as being one since most things these days have a 3 day cancellation period.

Yes, if you will be patient enough and explained what was wrong in initial setup, that you was very confused, etc... So just don't push it hard. :)
