Bought a house last year. The prev owner left was a DTV subscriber, and left the dish on the roof. Am thinking about signing up for DTV, and was wondering if having a dish already changes the deals available or procedure I need to go through, or do I just sign up for the standard new subscriber deal?

Thanks,

Mike

Ummmm, don't tell 'em there's a dish there if you're worried they won't give you "new customer" offers.

Tiger Private Message me and I will give you the info and a referral to get you the best offer!!

Lol, sorry, now that I look at it, it didn't come out right.

Was more wondering if it's a problem for D* or, more specifically, the installer, if there's already a dish up there. I mean, I'd assume they wouldn't technically need to install a new dish or anything as far as I'm concerned, just drop off a receiver and go, but wasn't sure if that would be an issue or not.

Don't mention the dish at all. They will do the install with a new dish in most cases and wire it for free to make sure you get the best picture and service.
