oscoda mi
hello, i have a weekend cabin, and was told by a freind (rv'er) that i could put a dish up there and simply take a reciever from home on weekends. so i bought a dish from newegg. model#46dtvde2 says 18"round dual lnb(dish is actually oval, still 2 lnb) dish at home is really round 2 lnb. went up north (oscoda mi) installed dish per instructions in box, pointed dish per reciever, but still cant find a signal at all (no trees or bldgs in way) so now i bought a digital satellite signal finder and am heading up on weekend to try again any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! i dont know if i missed something or what. thanks

That indeed is a single satellite (101) dual LNB dish, regardless of actual shape. I believe that with that dish you have to be careful that you are using the correct marking for elevation. Don't use the center of the adjusting bolt, but the edge of the washer (it might even have a flat edge)
