it was listed as "announced" but only beside the hs17. this was around 5am eastern. also later on it listed 1088 for the hr54-700 as new. does that mean there is something new added to that particular software version?

technician brought out a new hr54-700 yesterday evening. it came with 1037 so I downloaded 1103 this morning. so far things seem to be working. menu's are fast to scroll and responsive. recordings have not vanished yet. guide scrolling is fast, apps work, & on demand is working. whole home is working normally..... so far. double play also works great, have not encountered the bug that kept switching back and forth between DP channels when pressing down arrow. DP is by far my favorite most used feature.

I'm only seeing 1088 now, so 1103 must be beta.
I saw 1101 this morning. I didn't see the 1103.

Probably going to be CE this weekend if I had to guess.

im not sure if this was a bug previously because I never experienced this until downloading 1103, but when prioritizing importance of shows in the series manager moving shows up or down more than one space creates a double entry for that particular show to be recorded. I deleted a few entries and added them back and got the same result.

Sure sounds like a bug.

Is 1104 a new version of the new UI? I've been having serious issues with my recordings and my wife is giving me the gears over it !

Yes it's the updated FONT size version and today they moved it to 0X1104, will be there for another hour and then not again till 3 AM ET.

in 1104, does the guide still have that annoying line on it? has the font changed / enlarged in the info / show description ?

I thought I would hate the "annoying line" but in fact I think it works rather well. My wife thinks it's one of the best features of the new interface.

I STILL hate it ...
There was nothing wrong with the small notation at the top of the channels that they used previously, you could tell how far in the hour you were and didn't have a hideous line interfering with the whole guide.

Agreed was fine before, I actually like what they had back on 1037, I think that was as best as it was going to get, all they had to do is crisp up the fonts, colors etc. We didn't need the huge font.

And this is way threads like this go on and on and on. Someone hates it, someone loves it.

Bugs are one thing and should certainly be reported but there is absolutely no way to create the perfect guide.
