New D* Customer??

Question 1
I had D* @ 7-8 years ago. Would D* consider me an existing customer or could I qualify as new now?

Question 2
I have 2 houses. The one I live in I need waivers to get nationals, 7 miles away is my rental house, no waivors needed. Can I set up an account w/ D* and just say I'm adding satellite for my renters, but want the billing to come to my house. And really keep the receiver at my house? Anyone have any luck doing this setup to get national feed?

Any input would be appreciated. This forum rules btw.

1. I think you would be considered new. Just don't know until you give them a call I guess.

2. Setup the account at the house where you don't need to apply for waivers, setup as service address and use your house as the billing address. Put the dish and receiver wherever you want.

Tonedeaf, thanks for the quick reply. I though D* went by the address your phone # was attached to, which is not in the DNS. I wanted to get as much input from the forum before I gave them a call for ammunition....
