We have 38 mm 3's and they are large, the 4's are monstrosity's... is everyone that blind that they need large phones & watches?
Yup.
Getting old sucks.

I’ve always sold my Apple gadgets online.
Has anyone used the Apple GiveBack?
Do you ship your old product back once you receive the new one?
Apple will give me $230 for mine.I am considering it for my watch 3 SS. Apple will give me $250 for just the watch but another company offers $270. The fine print is that the other company also wants the charger and the mag cable which I have and can do. That's something that still has value so I would probably prefer Apple but I'm not sure as I've not tried either. The other companies try to sell them as used for a 30% markup which is why they want all the original package and accessories. Apple claims they strip them down and recycle the contents in their program of wanting to be a company that recycles manufacturers from all recycled raw materials and builds with renewable energy.
So far I have been giving my older stuff to family but this time I've run out of family so I'm thinking of selling my iphone and watch 3 back to Apple for the money.
The way Apple works is you apply on line and they send you a box and shipping label and when they receive your stuff they send you payment assuming it meets your claim.
I processed the watches through but at 3:02 AM there were no watch4's available at my local store for pickup and the home delivery was October 19. I checked other stores and was able to schedule a pickup in Orlando for the 21st. next Friday. I decided to go ahead and order in the shipping container for recycle of my 3 for $250. It's a 2 hour drive to the store in Orlando.
I ended up not ordering anything. Trade-ins not all that great on the iPhones IMO. Offered $275 for my 7+ 128Gb and $175 for my AW3 Aluminum wifi. And no deal of concern from Verizon.Side note: Apple offered $100 for my 128 6+. My MiL will get it or I’ll keep it as a spare.

Ouch. I hope you are alright.I am going to need the fall sensor. I fell last year and broke a few ribs .Tuesday I fell on my deck and broke 3 ribs and bruised my kidney. My phone was inside I am glad my dogs watched me go down and started to bark . Its going to need a automatic defibrillator the way I am going.

An interesting article that Wired had doubtless been saving up until the Apple Watch 4 had been introduced:
The New ECG Apple Watch Could Do More Harm Than Good
Essentially it says that unless you are at very high risk or have AFib, the monitoring capability may do more harm than good. It has medical journal references to back it.
