I have a Dish 921, a Express View 6000, and a SA 8300 connected to a Toshiba CRT Rpt, through a Audio Authority 1154.

A couple weeks ago, there was a noise and convergence went all screwed up. Sent the TV off to the repair shop. They cound find nothing wrong, and brought it back, after a week.

So now the deal is, that the Dish 921 produces a perfect picture. Both the 6000 and the 8300 produce a picture, that is pull in on the top and botton and bowed out on the sides. The further you go from the center, the worse the convergence becomes.

Thinking the problem was in the switch box, I connected the 6000 directly to the TV. Same problem!

This makes absolutely no sense! HELP! HELP! HELP!

This is driving me nuts.

you probably already check the settings in the 6000 and 8300. Have your tried hooking up the 6000 or the 8300 to the input that the working 921 is using?

Thread moved to the HD Television forum since to me this sounds like an issue with the TV itself.

All go through the Audio Authority 1154. The 921 is perfect. The other two are screwed up.

I did connect the 6000 directly to the TV. Same problem. Makes no logical sense to me.

What does your DVD or another source look like connected directly to the TV? If it is also bad, then I suggest the repair shop didn't check everything, but maybe I misread something in the thread.

Well I haven't checked the DVD, which goes to a different input; But if it were the TV, why is the 921 perfect? What di Yul Brenner say, in the King and I? "It is a puzzlement?"
