I got one last week at a home show. The local retailer had a handful and was willing to sell it to me (for my daughter).
That was so nice of him to sell you the promo item he was given for free.
LOL I was thinking the same thing but some retailers may have purchased more for promotional items.
I personally think they should have offered them for sale on MyDish, or sent them as customer appreciation/loyalty gifts to households with certain packages or lengths of service.
But, Dish may have gotten more as a tax deduction for the charitable contribution to Goodwill than they would by offering them for sale to the public.

Actually the retailers pay for them. (Although they are given a small amount for free... but small amount is less than 5)
Because they are only available from the Goodwill store, and are not available to order online.
Reminds me of 20 years ago when I looked to buy some Energizer Bunnies for the grandkids. They didn't market them then and they probably could have made some big bucks if they did.
I gave the one Dish sent to us to my 3 year old, she too loves her roo!My little girl loves hers.

You know, I have no doubts. Fights will happen, but this woman is great. Best part, she puts up with my sh*t, and does it with a smile. Couldn't ask for a better situation. And is a helluva cook. Lol. Not to get to far off topic here....
