Couldn't overcome bad calls by umpires, lost 5-2, niece had HR, was a great catch at fence away from 2... Hazy but bearable as long as wind stays down.

Daughters team dropped 2 games to Western Illinois, she went 4 for 6 with double and home run but doesn't mean much when the team loses . Team gets to enjoy an extra day in Chicago and then regroup before heading to Tampa for a week.
Niece went 4 for 5 in the two games today with a double and a home run, had a great weekend at the plate...
The girls were "off" all weekend, glad they pulled it together the last game as they have 2 tough teams coming up with 6 games in the next week... (one of which is the D2 World Series 2014 winner).
Got ruled, coach ended up in stands in right field by me after getting kicked out... Ump went to school at team we are playing.

Playing in Denton, Tx tonight, won first game 8-1, 2nd game tied 5-5 top of 8th with game halted because of lightning... might finish in morning before Double header.
Just got a iphone video showing rain pouring down, 10:21 pm now in Texas, looks like they finish tomorrow...
