NCAA says that Tressell is NOT "forthright"...

How much will potential sanctions affect the school's ability to attract a top candidate??

For someone like Meyer, who's already proven himself, it might be a pressure free opportunity to get in and set up the program he wants. Then again, recruiting would be a challenge if OSU were ineligible for any championship play. Depends on salary offered I would think.

Even though Pryor's vehicles have been a focal point of the investigation for weeks, that doesn't mean he has been riding a bicycle around the city.

Pryor drove up to a players-only team meeting on Monday night in a coal-black Nissan 350Z sports car with 30-day plates.

He is the down fall of Tressell. ALL indications looks like he wanted diva treatment the moment he walked onto the Ohio State campus.

He wanted and got diva treatment in high school.

Urban didn't say if he would or wouldn't be interested in the job if offered. He just said he was focused on working with ESPN this fall.

Hell will help them win AND increase the football teams arrest record too....

He no doubt considers himself "special" and at this point, must figure "what difference does it make now ?".

At least the car has an OSU license plate frame and not one from a dealer !

What that shows me is that he has already made up his mind and has hired an agent cause he is gone.

He couldn't have picked a worse time to go pro. Amid a mass scandal he contributed to only seals the fact that he's mentally questionable, the league he wants to enter is on strike, this year's draft has already passed (thus losing out on potential future earnings) and his success at the next level is still a pipe dream as he's yet to prove himself in college. Good luck TP.

As for possible coaching candidates in the years to come................ what about Urban Meyer? I here he has Ohio ties. Hmmm......

I've heard Meyer .... ( I would have a stipulation that he has to stick around, health permitting ... can't come in for a year or 2 and call it quits).
Also have heard Mark Dantonio (MSU, former D assistant at OSU)
John Gruden
and
Bo Polini.
