What a crock of sh*t. I am officially done with college football. How the hell do you drop a team 3 spots in a week without losing. The politics and double standards is sickening. They keep Oklahoma State out a couple of years ago saying our loss was worse than Alabama's even though we beat more ranked teams and won our conference and now they just ignore Ohio St getting their ass handed to them at home by a 6-6 Vtech team.

Four best teams vs deserving.
Deserving is what won this time.
Baylor and TCU better than FSU and OSU (especially with 3rd string QB) imo.
VT hasn't had a very good team since Micheal Vick was on it. And even back then it wasn't deep. OSU lost to a middle of the road ACC team. Now I agree a little here about the 6-6 VTech team spanking OSU at home, in front of a record crowd and trashing a few streaks. The thing I dislike about the ESPN conversation is they are trashing VT's record. They don't understand that when VT played OSU they had EVERYONE healthy and playing. By time VT played UVA we were down to our 4th string running back, lost a few receivers, lost a few linemen on offense and defense. The end result is VT losing 5 games by 7points or less in the closing seconds to 1-2minutes of each game only getting throttled by a Miami team that was having a great night. OSU didn't lose to a BAD VT team.... they lost to a very good VT team at that time. So really VT isn't that bad of a team when you put everyone back on it that is injured and look at the final scores and stats.... hell they came back from 27points down to tie up with ECU to only have ECU win in the final seconds of the game or GT whom won by a FG in the last 3 seconds of the game who just played a very good game against FSU.
Lots of things to really consider here when picking but I think they picked right at the end of the day.... however, I still want a 8 team playoff.

Be nice now. We all know he left Florida because of the stress of coaching. Twice. Not that his cupboard was bare and he couldn't bare to lose in the SEC. Will Meyer quit for a third time after a Saban beat down? I guess that conference that the Buckees play in is so easy there is no stress.I hope Urban doesn't have another "heart attack" after getting rolled by Saban again.
i agree the teams should get to play at home just like the pros in the playoffs. We all see that this is moving to an expanded play off.
I say unless they go to campus site games until the championship then you can expect the split of division 1a within 5 years.
The five power conferences will be in one division, the rest in another.
The minor bowls will be dissolved, and unless the major ones are incorporated into the playoffs someway they will as well.
All said, college football as you know it is over. And I'm not sure that's a good thing.
Whatever happens the committee is a farce. Even if the four they picked are right (or close).
