The Matt Barkley era is off to a slow start. The kid looks to be getting rattled easy. San Jose St. up 3 - 0 starting the 2nd quarter.

Maybe the Buckeyes will win their big game this year afterall.

USC pulling away at halftime. Guess we won't know what the new QB is really like unitl next week.

Navy provided for a lot of tight buckholes in this state today.

To be honest, I never worried about the game today, I felt comfortable that IF they did fall behind that they would do what it took to win the game ....
That said, yes, it should not have been that close ...

Ohio State was a 22 point pick, but then again, if ya want to win with the Bucks, never pick them to cover the spread and you'll do fine over the year.

Very impressed with Michigan's win today.

3 things that stood out to me:

The QB's, how well Tate Forcier handled the game, and how fast Denard Robinson can run!

The Defense kept Western Michigan confused all game long with the exception of a few drives late in the game.

The Warren kid, looks like he can be a real play maker at corner. I want to keep an eye on him and see how he develops.

That Michigan/Notre Dame game next week will be very interesting to watch- both teams kicked butt today.

VTech just ran back a kickoff to take the lead over Bama. They haven't done much offense wise but their defense is making it tough for that young Bama QB, holding them to fieldgoals both twice close to the redzone. Good game so far. Same with OU and BYU - tied at half at 7.

Big win for OkSt. I like to see teams scheduling good teams right off the bat and playing them tough. Kudos to for Georgia for scheduling that game as well.

My almamater LaTech is hanging in their with Auburn, 10-10 at half.

Next week I have a real problem, I've got 10 people coming over to see the game and also found out last week that my Niece is getting married at 5 PM on Sat with a reception following .....

What can I do ?
What would you guy's do ?

Not really sure what to expect next week for the game .... will it be a Good game or an Ugly game ?

Watch the game with your friends, get drunk, tell them they have to go home, then hit the reception to finish off the day partying. That's what I'd do.

The wedding is at 5 PM the game is at 8 PM and the reception follows the wedding , probably around 6:30 I'd guess.

The guy's were counting on tailgating and doin brats and what not, I guess I can show them to the grill and join them afterwards !
