NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

Thoughts on the early Saturday Games.

1. What a bunch on stinkers.

2. Oregon and Cal need to go to sleep earlier on Friday Night.

3. Rich Rodriguez looks more and more like a one trick pony.

4. Missouri may be the best team in country.

Georgia looked sloppy; I may call for the upset next week in the desert.
That was NOT a good effort by Georgia. I was hoping to see them make a statement today. Instead they look like a team that will probably win 9-10 games, but not make the NC.

OK guy's the # 2 team ( Georgia) is really struggling but going to win 14-7 over unranked S. Carolina.
How far should Georgia drop, or will they stay there at # 2 ?

Buckeyes dropped when playing a game they eventually won, how about Georgia ?
Remember the computer don't care who it is you played.

Jimbo

Georgia is over-rated based on their supposedly strong finish last year. They didn't look like a #2 team. I think Oklahoma may jump them based on scores so far, and maybe even Missouri. If tOSU keeps Pryor in and can come back on this one they could be #1...

...forget that thought, USC just ran back an interception. :(

After tonight, expect the media to pencil USC in the national title game because they're so invincible and the greatest team ever and blah blah blah.

BTW, the one national title game scenario I dread: USC/Oklahoma. (I can't stand either team)

this has got to be one of the worst called games i've seen in a while

too many penalties not called and and those that are called are questionable

the int TD run stepped out, the fumble with no review, TD called back.

i'm not for either team but would like to see a game played and not taken by the refs

at least all the calls aren't going against Ohio State but the costly ones are.

Mississippi St. just got a safety and trail Auburn, 3-2 with about 6 minutes left in the game. That's right.............................3 to 2!!!

How Auburn can be ranked #9 with that pitiful offense is beyond me.

They won't be after this week.

I'm watching the LSU game, and although they are winning handily over pitiful N. Texas, their QBs still don't look very good. :( Florida may be the only hope for the SEC going undefeated this year, but of course I'm not wanting that to happen. ;)

And I too dread the annointing of USC as the greatest team in history, blah, blah, blah. I'm also looking to see Notre Dame move way up in the polls if they continue to win even without a quality one.

You're so right. You KNOW both these things are gonna happen.

Auburn has to be dropped in the rankings big time. They are VERY fortunate they have a good defense

They do NOT resemble a top 25 team ar all.

How they're ranked ahead of Texas Tech is a joke.

At least Texas (whom I thought might be overranked) has shown that they can score points!
