I see you-know-who's college putting a nail in the Hoyas' coffin.

The reason Georgetown is not this good is plain and simple- no blue-chip talent. Roy Hibbert, Jeff Green, and Patrick Ewing Jr. are not walking through that door.

Pitt doesn't have any blue chippers, they just play like a team.

Greg Monroe is pretty blue chip. Georgetown could still make some noise. They completely choked in that last game against St. John's blowing a 16 point lead down the stretch. And if they win they get Marquette in the next round. Georgetown played them tough in the regular season and now with Dominic James out Marquette has lost 4 straight. Don't be surprised if Georgetown is still standing on day 3 of the BE tournament. And if Georgetown can last that long they get Villanova in the QF's and they just beat the Wildcats.

I'm picking a semi-surprise to win the Big East Tournament: Villanova.

Pitt, UConn and Louisville will be focused on the bigger picture.........and rightfully so.

Southern- Championship Game
(3S) College of Charleston vs. (1N) Chattanogga- 7:00 ET (ESPN)

Chattanooga wins the SoCon Tourney, and gets the automatic bid despite an 18-16 record.

Can you say play-in game?

Colonial Athletic- Championship Game
(2) George Mason vs. (1) VCU- 7:00 ET (ESPN2)

VCU wins the Colonial championship.

The Rams are one of those lower seeded teams that I can envision a first round upset. Remember, VCU knocked Duke out in the first round two years ago.

IMO, if they end up facing a team that I think may be overseeded, they can beat them.

Summit League- Semifinals
(5) Southern Utah vs. (1) North Dakota St.- 7:00 ET
(7) South Dakota St. vs. (3) Oakland- 9:30 ET

North Dakota St. and Oakland to meet for the championship.

Siena and Gonzaga are going dancing!
Gonzaga destroyed St. Mary's. I read today that St. Mary's has added a game against Eastern Washington later this week so they will have one last chance to impress the selection committee. It's the first time I've ever heard of a team playing another regular season game after the conference tournament.

Updated automatic bids:
