I see you-know-who's college putting a nail in the Hoyas' coffin.

The reason Georgetown is not this good is plain and simple- no blue-chip talent. Roy Hibbert, Jeff Green, and Patrick Ewing Jr. are not walking through that door.

Greg Monroe is pretty blue chip. Georgetown could still make some noise. They completely choked in that last game against St. John's blowing a 16 point lead down the stretch. And if they win they get Marquette in the next round. Georgetown played them tough in the regular season and now with Dominic James out Marquette has lost 4 straight. Don't be surprised if Georgetown is still standing on day 3 of the BE tournament. And if Georgetown can last that long they get Villanova in the QF's and they just beat the Wildcats.

The Rams are one of those lower seeded teams that I can envision a first round upset. Remember, VCU knocked Duke out in the first round two years ago.

It's the first time I've ever heard of a team playing another regular season game after the conference tournament.

I didn't either. I wonder if this will start a new trend for mid majors. It could be a nice fallback if you lose in the conference tournament to have another bracketbuster type game.
