Yeah but everyone gets their heart broken eventually in the tournament. This isn't like football where you can end the season with several teams bragging about winning meaningless bowl games. So the head to head matchups really are the only thing that lasts beyond the season, unless of course you do win it all.But back to the subject at hand, there is still an extremely good chance both Duke and NC will be 1 or 2 seeds...in which case the three times they play each other over the next six weeks won't determine anything.
The only thing that will matter in the long run is how they do in the big dance.
I'd have thought you'd get this more Sandra. No matter how often Ohio St loses in bowl games they still have their wins over Michigan. How many games did John Cooper win? Whatever it was it wasn't enough because of his inability to beat Michigan.
