NBA Basketball 2009-10 Season

Milicic and his 0.67 ppg is taking his basketball and going home to Europe after this season. I'd declare him a bust, but common consensus already declared that six years ago......

Darko plans European return as he can't get off Knicks bench - NYPOST.com

Mike & Mike were talking this morning about Milicic and what a bust he's been, especially when you consider who was drafted immediately after Milicic:

1. LeBron James, Cleveland
2. Darko Milicic, Detroit
3. Carmelo Anthony , Denver
4. Chris Bosh , Toronto
5. Dwyane Wade , Miami

Celtics going for their 12th win in a row tonight, against Philly at the Garden.

The 20-4 Celtics are 19 games ahead of the 2-24 Nets in the Atlantic, which got me thinking..............

What is the most games one team was behind another (same division) when the calendar turned into the next year? I'm curious if the Celtics-Nets deficit will be the largest one ever on Jan. 1.

The Nets trailed Toronto at halftime 70-33.

This is far and away the worst team in the NBA.

Anyone think they'll set the record for most losses?

The Sixers came back and defeated the Celtics 98-97, ending Boston's winning streak.

The Celtics are now 20-5, but four of those losses have come on Friday night games in Boston.

I have no idea what this statement means...please 'splain.

Neither do I. Judging on the time it was posted (after 1am), I'm guessing I had a few too many X-Mas ales when I posted. ;) :D

Plus, I keep forgetting you root for the Knicks even though you live in Jersey. :D

My apologies.

Rooting for the Knicks means I know of recent embarassment the Nets can only dream of...but we're starting to dig out.

Tough loss last night. That little Barea dude is quick. Cleveland's announcers do not have the best voices, but they know what they're talking about.

Last week, I said that a starting five consisting of 'Sports Section' members on this site could beat the New Jersey Nets.

Who on here would make a good (insert basketball position here)?
