ESPN's first, post All-Star break game will be the 19-34 Hornets versus the 16-37 Cavaliers. How did they ever get stuck with that turkey when the Knicks (32-18) versus Pacers (32-21), the Heat (36-14) versus Hawks (29-22), the Nets (31-22) versus the Bucks (26-25), and the Thunder (39-14) versus the Rockets (29-26) are all being played in the same time window?

David Stern and his NBA schedule makers sure do suck. Tonight the Celtics play the Lakers for the 2nd and last time this season and both times it's the Celtics 2nd game of a back to back while both times the Lakers had the previous night off.

F you David Stern!

i think every team goes through that rough patch of crappy scheduling. then they get a 7 game series and make it last for 2 weeks

Wow.... The Bulls fans have taken a nose dive when it comes to class. CHEERING when Lebron got hurt when he twisted an ankle?! Wow...not the same fans I remember when I lived there...

But at least, when the second game is in Boston, we get to shut off their hot water!

The NBA season should just end tonight and crown the red hot Miami Heat.
10 game winning streak pretty much sealed the deal.

They had a terrible defensive relapse in the 2nd half and let a getting better Cleveland Cavs comeback and take a 8 point lead after being down 22 points. BUT the difference between upstarts and great teams, they know how to win these ugly games.

But as I have stated early, those who thought the Wade has lost a step...have another thing coming...

Lakers look like they are starting to show signs of playing like a team.

A bit late unless they have a 10 game winning streak

The Lakers are two and a half games out of eighth place and three games out of seventh, with 24 games to play. And beyond that it doesn't matter where they are seeded from 3rd to 8th because no matter what, two of the three series needed to make the finals will be against San Antonio and Oaklahoma City. I'd say the Lakers are nearly an even money bet to make the playoffs as of now.

I would agree.

Defense wins championships. Miami made stops when they needed too.. And the Knicks could not.

true. the last two games have been ugly but going to yesterday's game, i love how carmelo was shut down once miami put lebron on him for the 2nd half :D......
no more road woes. all they do is win :yes 14 in a row that is.

And the best part, Spo and the coaching staff, have been excellent in making adjustments during the game. Coaching staff have been out coaching other supposedly better coaching staff.

And going back to your comment about Lebron covering 'Melo ...you barely see 'Melo be asked to guard the teams best offensive player...regardless of the position.

Barring an injury to LeBron, crown the Heat now, it's OVER. And it looks like it'll be against the Thunder, again.

Carmelo Anthony is not a great player, he's a scorer and nothing else. I really hope the Celtics get those frauds in the 1st round. I know their not winning a title so seeing Spike Lee pout in the front row would make it OK.
