heat gave me what i wanted, indy did not. i wanted grainger in there with his big mouth and talking trash to lebron and wade. i wanted all of their "smash mouth" style of play. oh and i guess size wasn't an issue, once again....... :p

When the Celtics played them last week, one thing I took away from that game is that while Indiana has some nice players they don't have a "go to" player when they need a basket to stop a run or down the stretch of a game.

I agree. even with that they're still a pain in the ass. pacers don't fear anyone. :)

The Rondo-less Celtics are now tied with Chicage for fifth place in the Eastern Conference. I think being seeded sixth or seventh is better than being seeded fifth, because the fourth/fifth seed meets Miami in the second playoff round, whereas the sixth and seventh seeds are slotted to have their first two rounds against Indiana and New York.

12 more to tie and 13 more to break that Laker record of 33 straight.. can the HEaT do it?? Indeed.

It's gonna be tough. As you win and the streak extends, each game gets harder no matter the opponent. It's mental.....
There's a long way to go and I don't think it's gonna happen.hell I'm already thrilled with the 21 game win streak.

Wouldnt be something if The Cavaliers will on March 20th

Their owner still hating on Lebron I suppose

I have a funny feeling the Celtics are primed to snap the streak Monday.

as the streak extends the odds of miami losing any of those games between now and the record get higher and higher. i'm sure the celtics will give us all they got tonight.

Nope. They will not do it. 22 is it after tonight.

KG out for tonight's game.

The Celts chances of beating the Heat WITH Garnett were slim. Slim has just left the room and none has entered it.

I think you're right but......... There is major hate between these two teams, the celtics gonna give the heat all they got.in other words anything can happen.

Celtics intensity skyrocketing! Miami not so much. Green all over the place....
The garden is the heats regular season cryptonite and not looking any different tonight baby.

Celtics hanging tough..........82-78 C's end of 3rd. I just question whether the depleted Celtics can hang with the Heat in the 4th.

At the beginning of the year, I didn't think I'd say/type that last sentence. IMO, the Heat, Clippers and Celtics were the three deepest teams 1-12 in the NBA, but injuries (Rondo, Sullinger, Barbosa and now KG) have taken their toll. The biggest difference has always been the Heat have the best player on the planet.

Celts by 7 with 5 minutes to go. Pierce has been the second biggest guy on the floor for the last several minutes, with only Wilcox bigger.

Nail biting time. Game tied at 103 with one minute to go.

Since 8 mins remaining, the Celtics are 2 for 10 from the field, 1 for two from the line, and have given up one steal and one turn over. Macho, crunch-time play by the Heat.

Boston was victim # 23.... Next
