Too many missed open shots by players not name Lebron. Haslem, in place of Bosh has been horrible...and I am being nice. He went oh-fer from the field and most were wide open misses that were ugly shots. With Haslem shooting like that and Joel Anthony having no offensive game...the Heat offensively are playing 3-on-5.

Other guys have GOT TO step it up.

RONDOTASTIC TRIPLE-DOUBLE!

From ESPN.com:
According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the last player to record a triple-double with at least 17 in each category was Magic Johnson, who had 24 points, 17 assists and 17 rebounds on April 18, 1989. The last player to exceed Rondo's performance in each category was Wilt Chamberlain, who had 22 points, 25 rebounds and 21 assists on Feb. 2, 1968.

Paul Pierce recently moved into third place on the Boston Celtic's all-time "games played" list. John Havlicek is first. Without looking it up, guess who is second.

poor nets had to deal with a pissed off heat team last night. never had a chance.......

Robert Parrish?

I ruled out Parish because he played seven full seasons for other teams, but, yeah, it was him.

A whole slew of career Celtics played maybe 700-900 games each and could have played more, but back in those days, players "retired" while at or near their performacne peak because that was when they had the best opportunity to use their celebrity to make money in business ventures, like partnerships in restaurants or car dealerships.

The Celtics were outrebounded 31 to 15 by Philadelphia in the first half. I don't get it. This is a coachable team, so how is it that they can be coached to do everything but box out?

Halftime
Blazers 30
Celtics 65

Portland has 17 turnovers, the Celtics 3. Portland has one steal, the Celtics have ELEVEN. And incredibly, Portland didn't play yesterday!

Pat Summitt steps aside as coach

Arkansas to fire Petrino?
