NBA 2011-2012 Season

Rasheed Wallace has declared himself fit for duty but the Celtics don't want to add him to their team, even though they are paying him. Wallace is reportedly physically fit to play and says he would like to play for the Lakers. Hmmm, $6,790,000. Hmmm. They could package him with Ray Allen and ship them to the Lakers for Pau Gasol and the salaries would match up perfectly.

Come on Rey...Miami's Mr. 305 is there, Udonis Haslem... I am not worried other than his spark of the bench won't be there. I would not be surprised if Curry gets extra minutes as well as Dexter Pittman.

I would actually like to see Pittman get some minutes. Is there something wrong with this guy that Miami doesn't play him?

Just heard a rumor from my buddy in the sports media in NYC that Ray Allen was traded to the Clippers.

Gotta go online to see if true. If it is...WOW!

Don't wanna bust Baron Davis' dream...but I do not think the Knicks will win a championship in the foreseeable future...

Davis says Knicks will win championship this season

Baron Davis looks across the practice gym and then up, at the championship banners that hang in the Knicks’ facility in Greenburgh. I ask him if he realizes that the franchise has not won a championship since ... and he doesn’t let me finish the sentence. “Since 1972-73,” Davis says. “I come in here every day and I look at that.” And when you look at it, what do you think? “I see a banner ... right in the middle between those two,” he says. To the left of the 1972-73 championship banner sits the 1969-70 championship banner. And the banner in the middle says?

“2011-12 New York Knicks"

This isn’t about what the Knicks are now, a .500 team at 18-18. It is about what Davis believes the Knicks can become. A giant leap of faith when you consider cks,” Davis says.the year-and-a-half headstart advantage the Heat have over these Knicks. “The Heat have an advantage. The Bulls have an advantage. The Orlando Magic have an advantage. ... But I am optimistic, and I believe in what we have here in New York City,” Davis says. “And I believe in what we have here for the New York Knicks. ... We’re gonna get better.

“We can do it. We can do it.
“And I think that we’ll come out of nowhere, and we’ll do it.”

Last night was just another case of LeBron being LeBron.

We'll see what happens come playoff time, but for now, we are seeing displays of pure basketball brilliance.

Lebron should of taken that last shot with 4secs to go.

Stop...it was the right call. What about Wade's AWFUL foul for a 3 point play, missing a FT on a 1-and-1 and 2 possessions where he had and did nothing with it....oh yeah, fouling Harris on a 3-point shot?! What they BOTH have to learn is when the othe is hot, you gotta GTF out of the way of the other guy....

Cleveland better hope it's the team of the future, since it is certainly not the team of the present. They lost to the lowly Wizards tonight and have now gone 3-8 since reaching their high water mark of 10-14.
