NBA 2011-2012 Season

greg oden will again miss another season with microfracture knee surgery. what a bust for the blazers. i feel bad for the kid. just can't stay healthy.

Was Dirk born in Portland, growing up as a Trailblazer fan playing his pro ball at home? Or Paul Pierce born in LA growing up a Laker fan and playing with them...or or Kobe growing up a in the 305 being a Heat fan and playing with them at the beginning of his career?

Nope. IF he brings me 2 championships:first::first: in his last 2 years and then want to hall a$$ to Cleveland... THANK YOU! Leave the gym keys with the parking lot attendant.!:clap:wave:bow:high5::hatsoff:

TWO?! Didn't he promise "not 4, not 5....."

So far he's produced ZERO!

He has been on the team for 1 year of his current contract. HE has an option year after his 4th. IF he gives Miami 2 championships in those 4 years, Miami fans will thank him IF he leaves(like they did Shaq when HE promised multiple championships as well when he came here)...IF he stays the 6, then 4 and I will be happy....like MOST Miami fans will.

Look for the Celtic's Avery Bradley to be on the court nearly every minute that the Thunder's Russell Westbrook plays. Bradley plays defense in the other guy's jersey.

Somebody has to 'splain to me why on earth the NBA chooses to give teams THREE full 60 second timeouts in overtime. My goodness, the last minute and a half are a few seconds of play and then a stoppage. Tens seconds of play, foul shots, another stoppage. Again and again and again.

And before you give the easy answer that involves money and commercials, I was watching the Spurs and Clippers Saturday. Five of the six timeouts were used, and the amount of times they went to commercial were somewhere between ZE and RO.

One of my pet peeves about the NBA as well. In a close game, it comes to a screeching halt down the stretch. Takes away much of the drama and suspense IMO.

Rajon Rondo suspended 2 games for hitting the ref with the ball during a game.

I think I found my favorite player....

Frustration has clearly set in for the Celtics. I can't believe how fast this team has aged! They remind me of the Pistons a few years back. One year they're a savvy veteran team who get's deep into the playoffs every year and the next thing you know... BAM... irrelevant.

That's the right approach. Pressure Westbrook and he's likely to turn it over. Even with so many turnovers, the Thunder is tough. Thank you Danny for Kendrick Perkins. :)

The NBA should just go ahead and hand the rookie of the year trophie to Kyrie Irving. Right friggin' now! The 4th Quarter is becoming "Kyrie-Time". Which is awesome, because the 4th quarter and emotions that go along with it are supposed to belong to savvy veterans, not 19-year-olds. Such a breath of fresh air!

Last night, Kyrie led another fourth-quarter rally over the Pistons to finish 101-100. Kyrie scored 17 of his 25 points in the final period to erase an 11-point deficit. Irving and Alonzo Gee combined for 30 of the Cavs' 35 points in the 4th quarter! What a finish!

They are even tougher without so many turnovers. Halftime: Thunder 72, Celtics 49. Bradley and Westbrook have each played nearly 20 minutes. Westbrook has 14 points on five for ten shooting and zero turnovers.

Time for Plan B. What? We don't have a Plan B?
