Excellent. My reference to the SF sub with the dated waiver is for an affiliate FOX station-KTVU(Cox Communications) and he says it's in the writing in his waiver that the feed be turned off 12/31/05. KTVU-FOX is the only station in the market of the Big 4 that is not O&O. This station may let it lapse but they are very difficult to deal with and have always been reluctant to allow waivers. Hopefully they will leave it on for him until a HD-DVR solution arrives.LonghornXP said:DirecTVs contract states that they can provide those feeds even if they have HD locals available as long as every customer within that market hasn't been given a chance to upgrade yet. DirecTV doesn't consider an HD Tivo user as upgradeable until an HD DVR replacement is available and that customer had enough notice to get the upgrades. Also if delays occur don't think that DirecTV can't get a three month extension because they can and with ease I might add.
In the 3Q conference call yesterday they mentioned 1Q for the HD-DVR replacement which is encouraging as early reports were it would not be available until mid 2006.
