Motor, Dish Angle

We are trying to get this new setup to work, we are using a Fortec 90 and there LNBF and a DiSEqC 1.2 H-H Motor.

The instruction I have been trying to follow here is confusing to us here.

--The RX is a Fortec Lifetime NA Classic

It says to set the motor el angle to EL/Lat = 43.1 Done
The one problem is the Dec it set it 30 degrees on the dish mount.
Do set it for 30- the Dec of 6.600 or ???
That is the part I don't under stand.

The LNBF does it set for 0 skew or ???

We are at 43.1 lat and 87.9 longitude

What brand of motor do you have ?


(If its an SG2100 then the angles should be............

Motor elevation = 47º

Dish (on motor) elevation = 23º)

On a motorized setup, skew is always '0'. The motors shaft will skew the dish automatically across the arc.

Thanks all I have it now and understand it, I got it to work just need to fine tune it yet all should be good to go.
