More info on NFL RedZone on Dish

Red Zone on E* is the only channel IMO that worth $5.99 on its own out of that Entire Multi sports pack. If D* added it to their sports pack it would be a great value even at $12.99
A $25 burrito for the entire season is not bad at all. 1/12 the cost of the full combo plate with several rounds of margaritas and beer.

It would be better if one can choose which combo and beverage they want.

Per month? Hell Hemi, at $12.99 a month why wouldnt a D* sub just get ST at the deals they have been letting people have? I guess at full price maybe....

And even then only maybe.

To me it would not even be worth 5.99 a month for only one channel (as you said).

It is a great concept for sure though. Great for subs that dont want or need ST

Naw he said the end of the Denver game wasn't shown. Directv had the ending exclusive. The NFL network was a replay.
No I did not. Go back and read the post.

I'll take your apology after you read that post in which you are misquoting me.

And besides, why are you the only one having an issue with this? Did I offend you in anyway?

ETA: I'll even help you out: http://www.satelliteguys.us/dish-network-forum/185466-more-info-nfl-redzone-dish-20.html#post1955330

How do you know? Others that have both said the NFL RZC showed it afterwords, but it was only a few seconds so most would not be able to tell that it wasn't live.

Nowhere did I make such a claim myself.

Yeah, I guess if you dropped the package after the season that is correct.

I went under the assumption of having it for the year in my above post.
My bad Hemi if that is not what you meant.

That depends on what teams you follow in CFB. I spent all that money on Game Plan just to see that every week the Bulls game has been on SNY.
All give you that.
E* College football coverage is good. And I'm glad my friends, (Msmith,Rey,and Dodger) Talked me out of that ESPN Game plan. Because I've not came across a Blacked out Gators game Yet. In fact I've been able to get every game so far this season Just with the Multi sports pack.

I am not going back to read it but if I am not mistaken you made a comment about one being live and one not. Turns out it may have just been a delay.

Not a big deal either way IMO

There is one thing I noticed. You don't get a good feeling of how players are doing during a game when you only see the red zone play. Cleveland's D was stuffing Peterson on several clips they showed early in that game. But you get stats as the day goes and they are going back and showing key plays later on during down times. So it works out.

Glad you did not fall into that money trap Hemi:up

I would, But thats a pain. Its a Live channel in Full HD that switches from game to game,or switches right to game breaking moments live, with Full announcing on all the plays , sometimes theres 2 games on a split screen if its needed, otherwise its just like watching NFL football in HD ,But you get to see the good parts of EVERY game being played. There is also a live ticker with all the score updates as well as some player news when needed. Right now Rams and Seahawks , Sorry Now Giants and Redskins
no problem:up. i just went to my old man house and took a look at it. i'm glad dish has this. it will feed those hungry NFL dish subs!

Thats OK , But Yea I just meant for the Season. I Drop my Multi sports pack after College football is over, So now when Red Zone is over I'll drop it then too.

This was my first post on this issue. Notice I started with a question? A question of clarity to check the accuracy. Notice I followed with what other have said and even stated that it was only a few seconds?

Nowhere did I make such a claim myself.

I will probably be out of it next year if my regional ISP picks up ESPN360. I sent them an email about it and was almost immediately answered by a person for who English is not a second language, the reason I use them over a big company. He said that last year when they approached ESPN about it they wanted basically 50% of their profit. They are going to try again since now it seems ESPN has regional ISPs signed up, so they probably have a new lower pricing structure for regionals.

Which I clarified in following posts before you responded at all. I was referring to what others were claiming. I have no way to tell since I only have Direct.

I even stated that this is what others were claiming, asked questions, and said that they could be wrong.

Again, I did not make that claim myself. My posts were created to discuss the differences between the two channels and to determine if these claims by the others were accurate.

A couple others have already said it but I think it's worth repeating: One of the best things about this channel...no commercials!!

Hasn't that always been the case with the RZC? I thought it was already known that this would be the case anyway?

For those with clarity issues, these are questions, not criticism. Questions are designed to get answers, not stir up trouble. Don't misunderstand my intentions and misquote me later.

Perhaps. I was just making the observation after a few hours of watching the channel that this is one of the best features.
