I just got upgraded to an HD receiver last Friday, and in the process they installed a second Dish 500 with a single lnb @ 61.5°W. This is in addition to my Dish 500 already @ 110°W and 119°W. Today, I decided to browse and familiarize myself with the menu. On looking at "Point Dish" (**VIP 722K**) on 61.5°, I noticed that the quality on the transponders range from 35% to 68% on the 61.5°W. The weather is dry and no clouds over head. Naturally, I called DN Customer/Tech Support. I explained to them how low the quality was, and it would be a problem receiving signals from those transponders with increased rain, cloud or snow. I also pointed out that it seems the Dish was not properly aligned, because a dedicated Dish to 61.5°W shouldn't be getting such low quality reading on a clear day. To cut a long story short, he said they can only send a technician/Installer if I paid $49 and to that I said. NO! Any suggestions on how to get Dish Network to correct this issue without me paying for it, or me have to go up the roof to do it myself?
