With teams allowed to expand rosters Monday, the Angels recalled five players from triple-A Salt Lake after Monday night's game, infielder Brandon Wood, outfielder Reggie Willits, catcher Bobby Wilson and pitchers Sean O'Sullivan and Rich Thompson.
The fact that infielder Sean Rodriguez, who is batting .301 with 29 home runs and 93 RBIs for Salt Lake and has extensive big league experience, was not called up has fueled speculation that Rodriguez is the player to be named later in the Scott Kazmir deal.
Too bad if it is so. I loved Sean's hustle and wanted him up in the Show a long time ago!

Believe it or not most teams put their whole team on the waiver wire on August 1st.
Oh, I believe...but until someone claims someone...it goes under the radar. I just wished that this was public....just to see the names.
Mainly it's done safely because of the money that would have to be accounted for that many don't get claimed.
