It is looking more and more like at least one of these series will go all 5. If TB wins today, I think they will be favored to win game 5 and take the series
It is amazing how the tone of an announcer and their demeanor sets up the mood and atmosphere of the whole game. Stockton already makes this game much more exciting by how he calls it compared to Orsillo's monotone deep non dramatic voice
Do you really require a play-by-play announcer to make a game more exciting?? Real baseball fans who understand the sport will let the action build the excitement for them.
I know baseball is a slow moving sport, but good TV announcers know when to shut up and let the visuals tell the story. Radio?? Now that's another story...
No...But when one does speak in such a tone it does bring a dullness to it, no matter how exciting the game is. Like white noise, a constant sound that does not change.
Just like the World Cup with those damn horns constantly blowing. The white noise they created puts you to sleep.
Actually it is not slow moving. It has some of the fastest burst of any sport. It is the change from nothing to sudden burst that makes it exciting. Constant pace is boring. An announcer like Orsillo has a constant pace voice dull voice, with the same tone on a routine out and a walk-off comeback dramatic hit.
Thanks to Mr. Error himself, Conrad. The dude made 3 errors in this game, accounting for 2 of the Giants runs. This is one the Braves had and should have won
