MLB NHL on Sirius

I'm sure this question has been asked many times before, but after unsuccessfully doing a search for the topic I am going to ask the question. Why aren't the MLB and NHL games available on the Sirius side? I had XM on my old vehicle and when I bought my Ford fusion I thought I would continue to be able to enjoy baseball and hockey games since Sirius and XM merged. Unfortunately that is not the case.

Apparently they were exclusive deals signed by XM and even after the merger there was contract language preventing them from being added to the Sirius subs.

You can always add xm to sirius by, getting sirius premier but you still can not get MLB PLAY BY PLAY.T he only way to get all sports packs is to go with XM premier that way you cn get all sirius packs. Rumors have it that MLB contract will end 2013 .

A lot of sports were moved to the xm add on pack ie. Nba. And nhl after the merger.
