Reds trying to come back in the ninth, 1 out with 2 on.

Edit...one run in, Bruce at bat with 2 men on and one out, Giants up 6-4 .

Edit...Bruce fights off numerous good pitches, then pops out for 2 outs. Scott Rolen at bat.

Edit...Rolen strikes out swinging...Giants to NLCS.

Reds lose 3 in a row for the first time all season. Giants first team to lose games 1 and 2 in the NLDS and come back to win series, is that correct?

Correct. It's happened four times in the AL.

1995- Mariners over Yankees
1999- Red Sox over Indians
2001- Yankees over A's
2003- Red Sox over A's

I happen to be off today so I get to watch the Giants and Reds but it is absolutely ridiculous to have a game 5 at 1:00 eastern. Yes, it sucks that the Tigers game 5 isn't until 9:30 but at least that makes sense with it being on the west coast. The fans in Cincinnati and San Francisco have to be furious.

I kind of like a Game 5 at 1pm but I understand why people wouldnt like it. People are in school and work. They could have flip flopped the Reds and Nationals game.

The Reds might have lost this series during the first inning of Game 1, when they lost Cueto. :(

I dont know about that. The Reds had the tying or game winning run in each of the last 4 innings of game 5. What more can you ask for? Do you blame Rolen at all? He made the error in game 3 leading to the Giants winning in extra innings.

Well, if the Nats don't get 2 straight wins, it's gonna be another year of WS baseball in SF or STL.

Great, boring Giants vs. Cards. I'd much rather have seen the Reds vs. the Nationals.

Thats correct. Its happened in the ALDS but the Giants are the first to do it in the NLDS.

Always nice to see the GOOD things NFL players do
