What, wait another 18 months for the next season to start ?Well the season finale is done so now we wait to see if NBC will renew it. TV Ratings Thursday, June 10: ‘Rebel’ Cancelled at ABC, No Season 2 | TVLine
Getting cancelled from Network isn't as bad as it use to be if your just going to get picked up on the Streaming side.I tired to watch this show again this year and lost interest all over again. I think they will cancel it from NBC and or move it to Peacock.
From watching around the time of Grace's death , I'm gonna say it was the Angelina, seeing it looks like she took the baby with her.At the end of the series finale, who stabbed Grace in the belly? Also, did Cal reappear 5 1/2 years older talking to his dying mom?
.... a bit confused at the season finale ending ......
Yes it was an older Cal speaking to his mom.At the end of the series finale, who stabbed Grace in the belly? Also, did Cal reappear 5 1/2 years older talking to his dying mom?

All shows are Eventually Cancelled.Glad I never invested more than a season and a few eposide this year . I knew it would eventually be cancelled. All Sci Fi shows on network tv usually end up that way . Especially NBC who takes popular shows off for months of a time then runs another season and move it from night to night till the public gives up on it.
Another network or streaming service might pick it up. The production company is looking ......I won’t miss it but I would like to know what the conclusion was meant to be.
Yes that is true. The difference is WHEN they get cancelled. Most Sci fi tv shows don't live to make season 5 or to even wrap up the show if it is cancelled. Timeless was a great Sci fi show that NBC killed after 2 years but at least they let us get a satisfying ending in a two hour movie. Networks have NO patience for Sci fi shows. CW ( former WB) is the only channel I see that has mainly sci fi and fantasy shows in prime time. But that channel has few viewers. All shows are Eventually Cancelled.

I wonder what piece of junk they have to put on when they decide that this show was actually going to come back ...I read that they (NBC) thought this show would go at least 6 seasons. The people that watch this show are really up in arms wanting to know why they canceled it.
I agree -- it will probably be junk. But I'll bet it will be something cheaper to produce. Its all about advertising dollars vs. production cost.I wonder what piece of junk they have to put on when they decide that this show was actually going to come back ...
NBC Killed this themselves.
They have no one to blame but themselves.
There two types of shows ....I agree -- it will probably be junk. But I'll bet it will be something cheaper to produce. Its all about advertising dollars vs. production cost.
Also, I think Manifest hurt itself by being a series that you had to watch almost every preceding show to know what the heck was going on. That made it hard to attract new viewers.
Some of the longest running TV series were easy to watch if you missed several episodes. Almost each one had a story and a conclusion within a single show.
And (of course) they lost many long term viewers with the ridiculous gaps between 'seasons'. 12 episodes and then wait a year or so doesn't work.
