Manifest (Netflix)

I would much prefer to get back to the Sci Fi / plane stuff ... but I'll keep watching, until this season ends and we have to go a YEAR to get to the next season again.

Same thoughts here,

The use of the callings or that new psychic skill sounds kinda esoteric or something,

I signed up for this show, because of the sci-fi, plane jumping in time element.

So, when the show is addressing the drama, relationships, callings, etc, I've caught myself losing focus, and thinking stupid stuff, like how old is this gal?.....

I've been recording this season, but I'm debating whether or not I should DELETE it without watching it. We got to the point last season, where we couldn't even figure out what was going on anymore. Anything different about this season to change that fact?

This is just my experience.....I keep watching the episodes, but I still haven't learned what exactly happened to the plane that made it jump forward in time.

And that's my main interest.

I feel that the episodes are filled with anything but that, the new psychic ability the passengers have a.k.a. Callings, and with scenes addressing the dramas and connections between the characters involved.

Don't erase them. Start watching at least three episodes then decide. Some of the people here watch it and then NBC puts it on hiatus and they forget what happened.

Yep, I guess I'm one of those folks, but don't expect me to remember what happened last season, when the show goes on a sabbatical year break.

If we have to ... thats why we keep the last year recordings (I keep the last 3-4 episodes anyways).

What gal are you wondering about age ?

I'm awful with names, the wife, Cal's mom.

Cal and Micaela are about the only names I seem to have learned.

I too want more info about the plane ...
However, I do like the "Callings" as well.

Cal's Mom is Grace.

I just finished watching last night's episode.

I liked that this one was more focused on what happened to the plane, than on the character's personal lives.
It was very interesting about the airplane and the tail fin going back into the ocean after being in the lab. Kinda creepy about that woman in the lab in a transparent container of water.

Next week they are running two episodes back to back -- two hours. Will have to make sure my TiVo doesn't miss recording the second one.

It seemed to me that those last two back-to-back episodes were not their best work.

I guess you could summarize them by the ending - Three dudes bite the dust.

Let myself get four episodes behind, what a pain to struggle through those episodes one after another. I really dislike all the lifeboat talk all the sudden.
