It sounds like they think that the airplane and the passengers were 'resurrected'.

And at the very end of the show the guys who came out of the lake and became alive again were from the previous season. If I remember correctly, they are the ones who kidnapped Cal and fell through the lake ice.

Anyway, someone please correct me if I got this wrong. Last season was a long time ago!

I just pulled up my recordings on the DVR and the last episode (last year) was 12 months ago.
I'm sure some of that was because of the Pandemic though.

I don't remember people seeing the plane falling out of the sky at all ....

I have this image of people on a kind of ship, looking at the sky, and seeing the plane going down., but I emphasize that last season was so long ago, that maybe I saw it or maybe at this point my imagination is impersonating a memory.

That was the best part of the episode for me. But the part about rescuing the woman from hurting herself was just 'filler' as far as I was concerned.

The part about the mystery of what happened to the plane is basically the interesting part.

In my case, after some "callings" I no longer found them much interesting.

And the love triangle stuff, and Micaela, cheating with her BFF's hubby, is something that I could happily do without.

It's because I'm not totally convinced by the show, by the way, If you want to save it, then I'm willing to cast my vote to save it, just for the sake of the fans who want to save it.

Here's my problem with the plane mystery.

And I'm old enough and sci-fi fan enought that I have to compare it with that classic Twilight Zone episode of the plane that took off and "passed" through different times, and eras, but eventually the plane landed in its original time and era. Ok, I have no problem with that.

In this case, we have a plane landing with passengers who are all safe and sound, albeit 5 years have passed by for the people on land.

Fine...

But now, they're feeding me an additional element to the equation, and that is the fact that the very same plane, fell to the ocean....then logic would demand that the passengers died in such accident, their bodies decomposing after 5 years.

But at the same time, then I have to fit that in some weird way, the plane resurrected the passengers did too, and boarded the plane again.

So which is it?

I can't manage the thought that both "realities" are ...."real"......

That sounds like quantum physics' Schroedinger cat's illustration......

The cat is both dead and alive at the same time.......

Well, sure, that's quantum physics and I get it......

But somehow I can't apply the same logic to the plane mystery in this show.....

Still baffled.....

I agree that it doesn't make sense that there could be two "instances" of the same plane.

Do we know for sure that the tail section found in the ocean was actually Flight 828?

Have they shown the 828 on the tail of either of the other plane, or just the Malaysia name ?
Maybe its something to do with the Plane company, instead of the plane itself.

I'm not yet buying the "Resurrected " thing.
Its starting to sound like a different show that use to be on.

If they go back to the Soap Opera, I will be out ... thats not what people tune in for in this show.
That and the fact that they tend to go LONG stretches between seasons and often times episodes.

I think that last episode wanted to make clear that the debris found was from Flight 828, but if it were a legal procedure, I wouldn't say I am sure.....

Ok, the people can be resurrected, I buy that, but then they boarded again the plane that was in the bottom of the ocean? That is something I don't buy.

Anyway, a week has passed quickly and tonight we are supposed to have more info.

Ok, I just finished watching tonight's episode, and I'm still confused, instead of getting more answers, I have more questions.

The episode insisted that the tail is indeed from 828....

So,, at some point in time there were 2 planes, of the same one.......

And why do people resurrect?

What made the 3 kidnappers so special, that they also resurrected?

I'm having this hunch that the show will be cancelled, before something makes at least a bit of sense.....

My best explanation - The writers of the show just made this all up.

Seriously, if you compare this to a series like Star Trek, they never explained how they can beam people/things over vast distances, or how they can travel warp speed faster than light.

I just accept it all as fiction. I enjoyed this past episode. But I wish they would not switch between scenes/story lines so fast and often.

Well I watched last night's episode and I don't know about you guys, but I felt like I was watching a drama rather than a sci-fi.

So it became boring for me, the uncle story, the lady going to a retirement home or not....

I liked it. They gave away part of the mystery -- the passengers who will still be alive 5 1/2 years from now will be the ones who used the gift of the visions for good causes. That explains why Mic's husband (who froze in a cave) survived his 'expiration' date because he came back and did good things.

It also explains why the guy who came back after drowning in a sunken vehicle died after he came back (he died in public puking mass volumes of water on the sidewalk). He was still up to no good after he was resurrected, if I remember correctly.

The 'resurrected' are supposed to devote themselves to helping others.

The show really held my interest and I plan to keep watching the rest of the season.
