ALL cable series are only 12-13 episodes. Last night was 10.
EDIT:

Guide last night said ep 10, but TVbynumbers said 8. Regardless, we get two more. That was the deal. Next year, we'll probably get 12.

t's official: A&E has renewed Longmire for a third season. Longmire, A&E's No. 1 original drama in viewership, averaged 3.7 million viewers during the sophomore season, with the Aug. 26 closer delivering a season high 4.4 million viewers.
