I'm moving from Raleigh to Hampstead, NC ... just North of Wilmington. I called today to schedule Dishmover service and the agent told me that local channels would not be available to me. Is there anyway around this? It's pathetic to think that my option would be to put up an antenna for static channels. I asked if I could keep my Raleigh local channels and she said I couldn't.

I need to keep Dish because my wife wants to keep her International programming. Any idea of what I can do? DirectTV does have Wilmington locals, sad that Dish is behind in this city.

Thanks,

Tim

If you want to keep your Raleigh locals, the only way is NOT to move your SERVICE address and move your billing addess to your new home. You would have to pay for installation at your new location though since Dishmover is a dead giveaway that you are moving your service address! Another drawback is the new occupants of your old address would not be able to sub to dish until you release the address!

See ya
Tony
