For some reason, QVC doesn't want their channels to be near the other shopping channels. Maybe if Dish removed the shopping channels on 71 and 72, and kept the music channels in the 74+ range year-round, instead of just during the holiday season, 73 would be far enough away from other shopping channels for QVC to allow Dish to put Beauty iQ there.
You may be right about QVC not wanting to be near other shopping channels. Maybe Ch. 115 is where Beauty iQ will go.
This is what I hope DISH does with the subchannels:
237 Laff TV
236 Justice Network
235 GetTV
234 Grit
233 FETV
This makes the most sense. I also hope that someday DISH will move Smithsonian Channel to 197 so that it's closer to similar programming.
Would love to see them get Antenna TV and Me-tv added to the subchannels too. I am to far away from the stations to pick them up currently.

On the other hand, I won a bet against Climate Hawk (on the other site) who thought that Beauty iQ was going to go on channel 223.
Ha Ha!! I am Climate Hawk on the other site. That's really me, I just have a different user name over there. Anyway I guessed Beauty IQ would go to either 73 or 223. Looks like 223 is out as a possibility.Okay, you were right.

wouldn't it be simpler to leave the supers where they are and put those digital subchannels in the 900s?All the legacy superstations can go into the 900s
Not for the average customer. Superstation subscribers are going nowhere but down, so it makes more sense to put the less traveled channels further to the fringes of the channel list.
