With more and more developers publishing games via Kickstarter funding, I figured it made sense to consolidate all these projects into 1 thread so we can share the ones that we think are interesting and/or worthy of attention.
I realize that crowd funding is risky, as there is no guarantee that anything will come from your donations, but it is worth noting that we have gotten some very good games that would not have been possible without crowdfunding. Here's a few popular examples.
Anyways, the former head of the Castlevania series for Konami is asking for funds to basically make another Castlevania game. Obviously it won't be CALLED Castlevania, but it'll be very similar, much like the creator of Mega Man and his Mighty No 9 project essentially being a spiritual successor because the owners of the IP aren't doing anything with it. If you're interested, here is a link. Odds are even if you don't donate they'll still hit their goal, but there are some nice perks if they hit their higher goals. Also, this is a long term project, with the estimated delivery date being in 2017.
