Kentucky bill may help hang up landline phone service

Looks like this is a national effort now. Rather than go through Congress, companies are going state to state to get their way. It is easier to pass IDIOTIC legislation through state governments than it is through Congress.

It's not surprising that they are doing it state by state - they are state regulated utilities.
