129 is a dieing satellite, it has low signal strength. Everything is mirrored on 61.5 except the HD-RSN's.

Almost impossible to hit on most installs.

So you may only be able to get the 61.5, which in Ohio sits at about a 40 degree elevation.

But definately keep the superdish huh? The installer should know this and what's best correct? I have heard some horror stories about them though.

Back to the cost again, the additional $6 on my bill now for a lease fee as I said earlier...is that correct or not? Does the 622 have this lease fee? The CSR said that all leased and owned units have this fee or is that only if it's not connected to a phone line? Maybe I should just wait and see wtf is on my bill and then call them and bitch!

I still have a SuperDish on my house with a 61.5 wing. I just replaced the LNB, last one lasted me 4 years.

The installer will just need to install a 44 switch to get you your 110,119,121 and 129 or 61.5 sats.

Hopefully in 4 years Dish has something better than the 1000.2.

Well I am in Wisconsin and am getting 103 signal with my 61.5 and 110, only 82 on my 119, and a whopping 66 on 121. Not sure of the "degrees of elevation" Not too good on my 121 but wonder what I'd get on the 129 then...hmmm

btw I have a DPP44 and get all those already, just not 129.

121 is a FSS (Fixed Service Satellite), not a DBS (Direct Broadcast Satellite). It will almost always have a very low signal.

On 110 Check it on transpoder 11 or 22.

One more question for anyone that may know or wants to answer my annoying questions

Currently I have my 811 hooked up with DVI since that's what the 811 outputs and my TV only has that as a input (no HDMI). I believe I have no more room for Component hookups on my system, so should I just convert the HDMI to my DVI on my tv? Such as this LINK Or would that be a bad idea? I really don't think I have another option.

119 TR11 = 93
119 TR19 = 104

110 TR11 = 93
110 TR22 = 103

What does this accomplish?

I always check on them for signal strength.

You are correct on the RSN's. Which one's do you get?

I'm in Iowa and I have a 110/119 on a dish 1000. I have 129 on a 24" dish. I get low/mid 80's up to 105 for signals on the 24" dish. Going to 61.5 for me would not be an option as I would lose the Cards and Twins games that are now in HD. Hopefulle CSN-Chicago HD will be added soon too.

I too have the Superdish and point at 61.5. From everything I hear about 129, I think I want to stick with 61.5. Who knows with all the changes coming if they don't go and move it soon. I also upgraqded my 811 to a 622 last night. I have the same TV issue and I bought a converter much like the one in your link. I also bought a HDMI switch box for my DVD player so I always use the DVI input on the TV. Then I run all audio via optical to my receiver.

Now if you have a Gateway DLP it will be way to coincidental.....
