resetting the receiver gave me my voom channels again. sorry about the false alarm!

It would be good is you added this to the thread you started when you discovered your problem. Some will not notice you started a new thread resolving the issue from the previous one especially when you don't give any connection between the two.

Maybe a mod will reset the title on that original thread. (I almost had a heart attack...!)

the old one was locked, so thats why i made a new one in the first place
