Yeah ports 80 and 8080 are open, but it examines every packet.and does not like the Unicode encoding.
You may need to head over to the Folding Forum and see if others using the packet inspection appliances (more than a firewall) have a Snort rule for FAH.

I've had to shut down due to the heat. I have 13 computers that have to be running and they push the temperature to 14F above ambient as it is.

1,000 watts when the A/C isn't running and over 2,000 when it is.

Ok I believe I figured it out
Looks as if you did figure it out.

Did we miss DWS44 reaching 80,000,000 Points? (hard to hit a fast-moving target!) Congratulations!

Good news for the Team, we're trending upwards!

Yep, looks like the servers are down again. Don't worry our points are still be recorded. When they fix it you will see a big spike in your points for that day. Something like double or triple what you would usually produce in a day.

It seems the servers at Stanford must have the US Holiday schedule programmed to cause outages when there is no one on-call to fix it. Either that, or the whole Folding-at-Home architecture is one good sneeze away from totally Folding in on itself and the only reason it doesn't is the staff keep "fixing" problems as they arise.

it's still 6:30am PST, so give it a few more hours...
