is there a way to block on demand content from being downloaded on the kids joeys? I only see where i can block purchased content. I would like to block the on demand totally.

Go to Parental Controls and choose Lock Channels then hide ch.1/501 and PPV if you want and on the right side choose Hide Locked. Doing this will cause the VOD/PPV content to disappear from the guide.

Thanks. i see that. I'm referring to the on demand tile on the hopper that gets you content from a lot of the channels you subscribe to. I don't care if my older son downloads certain shows, but i don't want the younger one downloading shows like Spartacus, etc.

Ah, yeah I don't think you can hide that tile. You can however set up rating restrictions so if the younger child tries to download something that's restricted he should be prompted enter the pass code.

No problem. I didn't test it to confirm, but that should work.

Yeah, just restrict everything except maybe "G" rated programs (be sure to include "NR") then give your older son the PIN.
